Showings in November and December of current year for a June 1st rental in the next year? Be Ready; Ready means your group needs to be defined (number of people), your group needs to have money to put down for a deposit (Cash or money order will be required). If you will not have the money until after Semester break for instance? We wont show the units until you have it. No sense bothering the current tenants unti we have a group that is: 1) ready 2) willing and 3) able (with money now). Please be courteous and dont request a showing this time of year/finals for college students and time to visit home just around the corner for professionals and students alike. We will return the favor if you are our tenants the next year! Thanks.

Rental Tips Rental Tip: For deciding what utilities will cost for the apt or home that you are considering; contact the utility provider to find actual usage. Often the estimates of tenants and owner are incorrect. This is public information.

Rental Tip: It is very wise to have a renter's insurance policy when renting any apt. or home. The cost is negligable & the potential savings emense should your roof leak, your apt. get damaged by smoke or your furnace kicks back soot. This policy would also put you up in a hotel if your apt. needs rehab. Good landlords usually require this of you.

Rental Tip: To check out the types of people in the area that you are considering renting; you may call the non-emergency police number in your area to learn what type of police calls are common there.

Rental Tip: When considering a rental unit with city gas for a heat source; you may call Comfort Systems and get up to 3 years utility usage information on the property you are considering. Be sure to check it out.

Rental Tip: When looking to rent a home/apt. if you're looking w/other people it's best to be ready to have your whole group be at the showing.
